His Dad has lost his way, one of his brother's has been arrested for robbery, and the other brother is returning from Viet Nam. One day, Doug notices the amazing Audobon paintings of birds in a collectible book at the library and his own life starts to take a turn that will introduce him to new people and give him a chance to use art to overcome disaster.
